Stef has released a new version of Gens (1.90), the biggest change this time is a new custom sound core. Quite how this will affect compatibility is not clear at this stage but it does sound much better than the old MAME core. The Official Gens Manual is ready for you to download as usual.
On a sad note Steve experienced a terminal computer problem a couple of days ago which fried the hard drive(s) with the Kega source code. The most recent backup of the source he has been able to find is for 0.02, and Steve says that there were a lot of changes and fixes since then. He does intend to continue work on Kega and is currently looking into the possibility of having the data recovered from the dead drives, I suggest that you keep your eye on the Kega forum for news and updates on the situation.
