News.

25th November 2000

I was hoping to have the C's updated for you today, unfortunately time got the better of me (yet again!). I only need to check the games with GENS now so they should be ready for next week.

Now for some slightly better news, Alex Slater e-mailed me earlier this week with an offer I couldn't refuse.....

(here's an edited version of his e-mail.)

Hi,

I've been messing about scanning and uploading some MegaDrive manuals in HTML format.

Anyway, it occurred to me that there is little point in me having these manuals hidden away on some half-arsed obscure site, you guys have some manuals up already, so would you like me to send you the manuals to whack up on your site?

Cheers,

       Alex.

OK sounds good to me, Alex has finished the manual for VectorMan and you can view his fantastic effort on the vectorman page. It's a bit too big to fit into this frame (if you're using 800x600) so it opens up in a new browser window. Alex also tells me that he's thinking of doing several other manuals in this format and that Herzog Zwei is almost finished. BTW If you're wondering where you've heard of Alex before he used to run a fan site about the Commodore64 magazine ZZap64. (He also gave me a URL for an archive of it but it appears to be a dead site.) Once again Alex a big thanks for your help and we look forward to seeing more of your work in the future.

I also tidied up the U-W's section whilst I was sorting the VectorMan pages out, and I still had half an hour free so I cleaned up the contents page for the D's.

Well that's it for this week, enjoy the VectorMan manual, and maybe next week I'll finally get the C's sorted!

It seems from the number of e-mails we have received lately that some people are struggling to find our help files for things like Game Genie codes. They were in the 'Using the Guide' section,  which was called this for historical reasons and has subsequently been expanded to cover a few other subjects. It has now been renamed 'FAQ' and been brought back up to date so hopefully everyone should be able to find things now.

Added Sonic's Secret files to: Beavis & Butthead, Bio-Hazard Battle, Bulls Vs Lakers & the NBA Playoffs,

Added passwords to the Boogerman Sonic's Secrets File.

Added walkthroughs to Beavis & Butthead, & Beyond Oasis.
